Fibreman vs Pempi is a record based around the loose concept of a universe which finds itself in a state of immediate cosmic peril, and the subsequent 43-earth-minute psychedelic journey to fulfil their unknown utopian potential. Their journey is represented via a bold symphony of psychedelic electronic sounds, beats, waves, pulses and ballistics.

It was produced throughout the month of February in unplanned remote collaboration between two enlightened sonic explorers. That is, not a fader was thrown or a drum machine tinkered with until the 1st of this wintery month, and upon midnight on the 28th - like a veritable feast served up on one of our planet's many competitive culinary TV shows - we were relinquished of our tools by this imposed restriction; the fruits of our frenetic production laid bare for all to taste, digest, and hopefully enjoy.

Fibreman, he is still very much the non-tyrannical sonic dictator you've come to know and love. But who be this Pempi character?

Pempi is an audio pioneer of loud electronic music heralding from the harsh north-westerly landscape of Warrington but currently residing in the sprawling metropolis of Leicester, with much grounding in the territories Dubstep, Drum & Bass, Techno, and Noise. But that's not all he can do, his wizard-like mastery of bass-heaviness and other-worldly productions proved an insatiably intriguing proposition also. And so it came to pass.
